Shot in Winter Wonderland, a Christmas-themed funfair in Hyde Park, London, this project focuses on the juxtaposition between the indifferent demeanours of the park’s workers and their brightly lit and seemingly joyful surroundings. The work blends documentary, sense of place and portraiture to create a piece that circumvents the façade of the fair to expose the working lives of the staff who keep the show running.
