These images were made during my month long road trip across America on the Greyhound Buses. As I made my way from New York City to Los Angeles, I tried to drink in the scenery around me, and let the people I met weave in and out of the threads of thoughts that were being created in my head. I grew up with an idealistic mental image of the USA, especially of the South-West - a boundless wild place full of life and opportunity. Looking back on the pictures I took, I am still trying to figure out how much damage has been done to that view.
